Welcome to Vroman's Bookstore, the innovative force behind independent bookselling since 1894. As the oldest & largest independent bookstore in Southern California, we're proud to see how the store has progressed over the years - from a combined store inventory that boasts over 85,000 titles to our hip new EDGE wall to an events calendar chock full of author signings, writing workshops & craft classes (Vroman's ED), children's parties, weekly Storytimes on Wednesdays & Saturdays, reading groups, and the continually sold-out, much-in-demand UCLA Book Buses. Even if you'd like to bring your laptop and just hang out, we've got plenty of room for you to read, study, surf the web with our fully-equipped Wi-Fi (now available in the Main Store's event space), and, of course, there are tons of aisles to shop your heart out.

Love that it is an independent bookstore that has been around for many, many years. Great events (authors, classes, book clubs). Great to have in the neighborhood!
