I love this place! You can find this place blindfolded - just follow the delectable smell of BBQ! The pulled pork is excellent. Even made grilled salmon less than ordinary.

Decidedly the best place for cheese. I appreciate the free samples too, because who wants to buy a block of something you thought would be impressive only to find out after you get home that it could choke a maggot? Right. Samples are a goodness.

BEST French Renaissance Restaurant at The Manor Hotel

I never miss when I eat here. The food is traditional and impeccably prepared. The Maitre d' (Gerard) alone deserves my vote for his personality, sense of humour and ability to make everyone feel comfortable. Delightful desserts are created daily by their own Pastry Chef who studied at Le Cordon Bleu in France who happens to be French as well. Above all, I think what makes this restaurant special is the value for the money which is not characteristic of a 3- or 4-star French restaurant.

This is a magical place to escape to. I started going to this place for lunch because I worked in the area, but then it become a hangout. The food is delicious and the tea selection from around the world adds an element of adventure for you and your palate. I especially like the woman the woman who owns and participates daily in the running of this reputable establishment. I highly recommend this place.

Felix Omar Barbering is a blend of modern culture with all that was good about the old fashioned, upscale men's barbershop. Professional, clean, punctual and gentlemanly. A refreshing and much needed alternative to getting my haircut at a "beauty salon."

BEST Day Spa Glen Ivy Hot Springs Spa

A good place to relax, even for a guy. I've been going to this spa since I moved to Los Angeles 24 years ago. I've watched it grow and evolve into what it is today: a great day spa getaway! The facilities are comfortable. The food is exceptionally good. I think it's reputable that the management doesn't take advantage of the fact you're a captive audience since there are few other eating options in the area. The wide variety of service offerings are good for men and women. I've come here for a day off with the wife and come back home rejuvenated!

BEST Picnic Spot Griffith Park

This place is huge! There are multiple places to picnic and have fun outdoors playing with the family. My kids grew up with the train and pony rides. Good memories; great photo opps.
