At Green Truck, serving healthy, gourmet food in a fast and efficient way is not enough. We believe that a healthy environment is tantamount to living a healthy life. To this affect, we have taken every measure to ensure that our food is good for you and your planet. This process starts with the use of only certified organic ingredients. This not only protects your body from harmful pesticides and genetically modified organism's (GMO), but it also keeps these harmful pollutants away from plants, animals, and waterways. To cut down on harmful transportation by products such as greenhouse gas CO2, we buy locally grown ingredients whenever possible. Our solar powered commissary allows us to add whatever clean energy we don't use to the city's power supply. All of our cleaning products are environmentally friendly, ensuring that we are not polluting our oceans with unnecessary chemicals. All of our trucks are fueled by vegetable oil previously used by our company and other food service companies in the Los Angeles area. By using recycled veggie oil, we not only help to keep grease from clogging the city's drainage systems, but we utilize a fuel that creates no harmful emissions to the environment and definitely does not add to our dependence on foreign oil. All of our food packaging containers, bags, napkins, and utensils are made form biodegradable products rather then plastics and Styrofoam. This process generates zero trash and utilizes sustainable technologies that minimize pollution in the production process. At Green Truck, the health of our people and our planet is the bottom line. Green Truck operates its own state-of-the-art food preparation facility and catering truck commissary.
