Phase One Surf was established in 1999 in San Diego by a group of friends and surfers with the goal to create a surf company that had the ability to put the focus of soul back into surfing. Disillusioned with the current state of the surf industry the group wanted to keep surfing true to its roots. While many surf shops focused on clothing and surf lifestyle items Phase One Surf maintains a focus on what is core to surfing: surfboards, wetsuits, fins, and key surf accessories. Phase One Surf offers a full line up of hand shaped boards designed by our team and shaper Chris Diercks. We have complemented our own boards with boards by Walden, Mctavish, Aloha, Webber, NSP, 7S, and more. This diverse line up allows us to provide affordable and high quality surfboards from the beginner to the seasoned surfer. Phase One Surf is Headquartered in Gardena, CA near the beach cities of Manhattan, Redondo, and Hermosa.
The Phase One Surf team set the goal to create an online business that could provide excellent customer service, top of the line products, and surf knowledge to the masses. Phase One Surf would like to share the soul rooted in their products and boards with you.
